Tina Han Bouillion, LPC
My experience as a therapist of color allows me to offer professional and culturally-specific outpatient, individualized, psychological care.
I work within CBT, DBT, and Narrative therapies as well as through a unique healing lens that addresses diagnostic disorders as resulting symptoms and barriers to mental health. I also take into consideration cultural and generational attitudes towards mental illness and treatment within families, communities, and religions.
My focus is to help individuals that identify as People of Color (POC), bi/multi-racial and bi/multi-cultural to heal, energize, and reclaim their current and generational identities through eclectic and collective processes that transcend traditional interventions.
I am committed to supporting the healing process caused by cultural dislocation, racism, othering, and assimilation through therapy, coaching, and sustained planning for mental strength, psychological wellness, and spiritual health.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most uncomfortable and challenging emotions that we can experience in our lives. Through therapy and support, we work towards recovering motivation, perspective, and joy waiting to be reaccessed.
Many individuals can experience complex symptoms associated with painful and traumatic events.
Residual impact of personal, institutional, and historical trauma can perpetuate feelings of anxiety, fear, and hopelessness. We can work towards managing these symptoms and guide you through the process of loss, grief, and spiritual restoration.
Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection and communication. Therapy sessions are held with both couple members and provide a supportive environment to address issues and gain solutions to deepen shared awareness in your relationship.
